The room I stayed in was very well equipped and beautifully clean with lovely homely touches. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of food. Again the breakfast room and everything in it spotlessly clean. The proprietor makes everyone welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Brilliant place to stay. - Carol N

This was my 4th stay at the lawnswood,I return here because ive found everything you look for,comfy spotless rooms,comfortable bed,great full English breakfast cooked by a great host Karen,a good location as i prefer this end of Torquay, a nice stroll down to the seafront and to the harbour,easy access to railway station,which I use for travel to Paignton + newton abbot races,will no doubt be back next year, - Dale wilmott
